After creating my account, how long will it take me to be up and running?
Minutes. You'll be able to log in immediately, and follow the simple steps to upload or create a master list of names and create groops.
What happens after the 30-day free trial period?
You will receive an invoice via email to begin your paid subscription. If your 30-day trial ends in the middle of the month, we will pro rate your bill to complete that month. Every month thereafter, you will receive an invoice with payment due on the 1st of the month.
Are there any long-term contracts?
No. Our relationship goes month-to-month. If you cancel, your current month’s bill will be your last.
What kind of support can I expect?
We have designed Groopik to be user friendly, even to those with very basic computer/internet skills. We have provided detailed answers to an extensive list of FAQs under the Help link. You may also email us at support [at] groopik [dot] com or submit your questions via the form on our Contact page. We are committed to responding in a very timely manner.
Do I have what I need?
Since Groopik is hosted on our server, there is no software to install. All you need is a modern web browser with _Javascript turned on. We recommend Firefox or Internet Explorer 6 or later.
What if I need to change my account size?
You can easily change your account size at any time. Simply click on the Account Size button on the settings page. Should you change your account size, your new billing rate will take effect immediately. You will receive an invoice with your new billing rate every 30 days thereafter unless you cancel your account.
What will happen to all our database information residing in Groopik?
We promise to never sell or abuse your email addresses or any other personal contact information you provide.
How do we integrate Groopik into our website?
Groopik provides a URL address for you to use. Simply create a link on your website by using the provided URL address. This will open your browser with a cloud tag system which facilitates the browsing of your groops.
How do we integrate Groopik into our lobby’s kiosk?
Groopik provides a URL address for you to use. Type this address into your kiosk’s browser. This will open your browser with a cloud tag system which facilitates the browsing of your groops. To set your browser into a full-screen mode, simply press F11. We highly encourage you to create a screen saver to extend the life of your kiosk’s monitor.
Can support/recovery groups use Groopik and still remain confidential?
Yes. Groopik is the perfect system for recovery groops, in that you can make groops and members’ identities completely confidential if you choose to. Simply check the Private checkbox on the Create Groops form. By doing so, the groop name will not be displayed on its members’ My Groopik pages. The (screen) names of the private groop members will be viewable ONLY to the members of that groop. Private groop members however, will still have the capability to connect with other groop members.
